On January 6, 2010, Ms. L'Esperance from the City of Winston-Salem Stormwater Division came to share some information about the importance of keeping our waterways clean. On Thursday, Jan. 14, the fourth graders at Forest Park took part in Adopt-A-Stream to help clean our waterways in Winston-Salem. The students adopted a stream beside the school. There was a chill in the air, but smiles on their faces as they cleaned and served!
